The German Chancellor Angela Merkel has visited CTU during her staying in Prague on 25th of August. Zdenek Hanzalek participated in the discussion about Industry 4.0 and the cooperation between industry and researchers.

Industrial Informatics Group has the long-term record of contracts by German companies. Optimization and scheduling with small lot sizes and strict delivery dates are playing an important role in Industry 4.0.
